COACHING
FOCUS ON THE PROCESS AND PROGRESSION
- If you have a massive mountain to climb like I had when I started my weight loss journey with over 100 lbs to drop, it can become very demotivating if you only ever focus on reaching the top of the hill, or in my case getting 6 pack abs. A much better approach is to first focus on just getting up the next step, in other words the process and secondly, every now and then to look back and see how far you have already come, in other words the progress. So try and make the process of getting back into shape like sticking to your diet and workouts each day and then the progress you are making each week like losing weight, your main focus rather then always looking at the end goal.
