TAKE A BEFORE PHOTO

  • Now is not the time to be camera shy! No one needs to see this picture but you, but taking a photo now as you begin will give you a reference to look back on and see how far you’ve progressed. Take photos once per week and you’ll see your own transformation unfold before your eyes. Get into some shorts or a bikini, stand against a white wall, and get that photo taken.

SET YOUR MAIN GOAL

  • If you’re reading this right now, you likely have some type of goal that you’re working towards. Whether it’s losing weight, improving your health, getting six pack abs, or otherwise. It’s the main thing that drew you to pick up this book in the first place.

    When deciding upon your long term goal, the most important thing that you must do is make sure it’s specific.  Don’t tell me you want to ‘lose weight’. It’s simply not specific enough. You could lose one pound and see success based on those terms.

    Define your goal.  Be as specific as possible so that you easily can have a vision of it in your mind.  The better defined your goal is, the more motivated you will be to strive to reach it.

    The goal should be measurable, something that you actually can obtain realistically, and it should have a firm timeline as well. If you’re missing the timeline, there will be no sense of urgency to get your sessions in.

VERBALIZE YOUR GOAL

  • It’s time to get social.  Tell all of your friends about your new goal and make sure everyone around you knows. This will help keep you accountable. Update your social media pages and inform your family.

    It doesn’t matter how they are choosing to live their life, this is a time for you to focus on doing something good for you – and letting them know your intentions. Explain that they don’t have to join you if they don’t want to (but invite them the same!), but that you do ask they respect and support you.

    If they laugh or get made, don’t let it get to you. Instead, use that as fuel for your fire – motivation to push even harder to show them what you can do.

    Once they see your results, they will start respecting you!
