The following are all things that I highly advise you to do right now. Think of this as your way to kick-off your successful journey. Don’t put them off – do them NOW.

 

Radical Overhaul Of Your Pantry And Fridge

As hard as it may be to toss out those foods that just don’t belong, it’s time for them to go.  Whether this means those high sugar cookies you love to indulge in or the frozen pizza you keep for your Friday night dinner, those foods need to be tossed.

By keeping these foods out of your home, you’ll dramatically increase your chances of adhering to the program.  If you aren’t sure if it should go or stay, please use the elimination guide to assist your decision.

Verbalize Your Goal And Tell The World

It’s time to get social.  Tell all of your friends about your new goal and make sure everyone around you knows. This will help keep you accountable. Update your social media pages and inform your family.

It doesn’t matter how they are choosing to live their life, this is a time for you to focus on doing something good for you – and letting them know your intentions. Explain that they don’t have to join you if they don’t want to (but invite them the same!), but that you do ask they respect and support you.

If they laugh or get made, don’t let it get to you. Instead, use that as fuel for your fire – motivation to push even harder to show them what you can do.

Once they see your results, they will start respecting you!

Eat Or Drink Something Healthy NOW

To kick things off and get you in the healthy mindset, find something very healthy to eat or drink right this very second.  If you can’t think of anything, just drink a tall glass of water.  Or, make a trip to the grocery store and pick up some fresh produce and eat that instead.

Go Be Active

Now that you’ve had your healthy snack or drink, go do something active. Think of this as the mark of your very first day of your new lifestyle.  This could be as simple as going out for a walk for 20 minutes or playing with some kids on your block.  Just get moving – and see how good it feels to have taken the very first step to success.
