Focus On The Process & Progression

  • So today I quickly want to remind you that it is very important when we building habits that you make sure you focus on the process and the progress you make rather than just always focusing on the end goal.

    So for example; it is more important as we are developing new healthy exercise and eating habits that you focus on doing the workouts each day, eat healthy every day etc rather then to worry or focus on how much weight you lost so far or each week.

    Not continuing to focus on the end goal all the time you will feel less stressed, have more fun and end up developing the habits faster as you will make sure your main focus is just doing the daily steps that will help you get close to your main goal eventually.

    It is also easier to focus on the process as it is normally in the form of a plan or daily steps you need to take so you feel like you actually have something to aim for and then accomplish whereas if you just focus on this big goal, you can sometimes lose motivation as it is just OUT there but you don’t feel like you can actually work towards it.

    So continue to make your main focus the process and every little bit of progress you make and not the end goal.
